"Morning Light in Neon Canyon #3" - Escalante Canyons
This image is of a special place called the Golden Cathedral, in
Neon Canyon in the Escalante River canyon system. It is a most
unusual canyon 'bottom', since all rain water has spent many
years carving a series of 3 large holes into the ceiling.
This is also a popular technical canyoneering 'route'. I still
have nice memories of rappelling out the lower hole while
descending the canyon ... it was one of my favorite days of
adventure in Utah.
