This image was taken during a magical overnight trip hiking through Spring Canyon in Capitol Reef National Park, in the Fall of 2012. It was a beautiful calm morning, and as the sunlight reflected off the high canyon walls the light was perfect for describing the color of Fall leaves. Somehow, when I saw this composition, it felt like it was an image I have always wanted to capture on film.
