This sunrise photograph was taken in the Spring of 2013, in an area just off the Spencer Flat road near the Escalante River. In the very far distance you can see Navaho Mountain and the Kaiparowits Plateau.
I really like the interplay of sunrise color on the relatively white slickrock, which seems to be a color sponge.
