This sunrise photograph was taken during the long days of June, with the full moon setting on the far horizon just before the first light of day. The previous evening I had photographed the full moon rising some time close to 11PM, and if memory serves me well I was back up to photograph early sunrise before 5AM the next morning.
This image is of one of my favorite places in the Owyhees - the confluence of the Owyhee River and Battle Creek.
