This magical place is located in the northern region of Capitol Reef National Park. My experience of this place was a bit on the dramatic side because of the advancing storm. As I began to see the possibility of a special composition of the black rocks, I found myself somewhat ... rushed. I was able to make this otherworldly image, and only a couple minutes later I was hunkered down riding out a fierce rain and sand storm.
