Let me explain ... these past years I have grown to enjoy tossing a pebble into pools of water in deep sandstone canyons when the sun is casting reflections on the canyon wall. Call me goofy, but I am fascinated by the patterns as the wave reflections bounce off the pool edge and return to cause interesting interactions.
This image was taken in Neon Canyon in the Escalante River canyon system ... the location in Neon is a magical place called the Golden Cathedral.
