These views West and East from this summit definitely deserve more explanation. First of all, EACH view is derived from FIVE medium format slides, scanned and stitched together ... that means that each combined tiff-file image is roughly 2.5 GIGABYTES in size. That means there is a whole lot of image detail, and thus image quality. Because of operating system file size limitations, I could not combine both views into a full resolution 360 degree panorama!

The view east looks down on the Boulder-Chain Lakes in the White Clouds, with Sapphire Lake (camp) being the big-middle lake in the collection. This is mountain goat heaven, by the way. On the horizon, you can see the Lost River Range ... Mount Borah, and the view to the right (south) takes you to and beyond Castle Peak.
