These views West and East from this summit definitely deserve more explanation. First of all, EACH view is derived from FIVE medium format slides, scanned and stitched together ... that means that each combined tiff-file image is roughly 2.5 GIGABYTES in size. That means there is a whole lot of image detail, and thus image quality. Because of operating system file size limitations, I could not combine both views into a full resolution 360 degree panorama!

The view west from this peak offers a dramatic view of much country, including the entire Sawtooth Range on the horizon. There is enough image detail that I have been using this image at full resolution as a reference for ideas for photographing off-trail sections of the main Sawtooth range ridgeline.
