This peaceful scene of Fall Color was taken very near my home, 'in' More's Creek, a bit more than 20 miles up highway 21 north of Boise, Idaho.

I remember being so consumed with finding the perfect composition, with the right shutter speed to express the shapes and character of the flowing water, that I didn't notice that my feet and legs had become entirely numb in the water! It was not trivial to get to the edge of the creek with no feeling in my feet and legs, and I only barely managed this by using my extended tripod to assist me with balance.
